Technical Writer
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with at least 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated written communication skills in the preparation of technical (IT) deliverables, such as business and technical requirements, workflows, training materials, manuals, release notes, how-tos, and other technical documents.
Write, edit, format, and review a variety of technical documents to communicate clearly and effectively technical specifications and instructions to a wide range of audiences.
Coordinate preparation of illustrative materials, diagrams, and charts to be used in conjunction with written materials to convey complex technical information.
Develop all technical documentation required in the software development process.
Document minutes of meetings of technical discussions of software teams.
Working with internal teams on product and documentation requirements
Write software manuals, user end requirements & all user guides.
Research & write reports about various technical requirements & software as per assigned tasks.
Create a video tutorial when required.
Experienced in the API documentation.
Demonstrated ability to explain, in simple language, scientific and technical ideas that are difficult for the average reader to understand.
Experience in being able to gather and convert data into a written narrative.
Possess a good understanding of business applications and technology.
Strong verbal communication and superior writing skills.
Ability to work independently and with teams in both a virtual and client-site environment.
Ability to understand complex technical terms/materials.
Thrives in a fast-paced, software development environment.
Successful history of collaboration with geographically dispersed teams.
Understanding of CMMI and Agile Scrum methodologies.
